Driver Supervisor at Drivers On Call Limited

Due to expansion in a fast growing road transport service provider with head office in Lagos State, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill this vacant position in their organization.

Responsibilities:
Assign daily drivers to trucks and ensure proper start times are maintained
Communicate daily with all dispatch, drivers and members of the general public; providing assistance where required
Maintain solid employee and union relations
Review current day’s work to ensure all areas have been serviced
Assist in the training of drivers relating to policies and procedures
Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to review all vehicle runs and routes
Monitor, investigate and document all driver performance activities
Enforce company operating procedures and all health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of OND with 10 years experience or SSCE with 15 years experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Should reside in the following areas: Lagos Island-Obalende-Ikoyi-Victoria Island axis, Lekki-Ajah-Epe axis, Dopemu-Akowojo-Egbeda-Ipaja-Sango-ota axis, Mushin-Ajao-Isolo-Ejigbo-Ikotun axis, Mile 2-Festac-Agboju-Okoko-Agbara-Badagry axis, Apapa-Ijora-Ajegunle axis, Agege-Fagba-Iju-Abule Egba axis, Ikeja-Ogba-Maryland-Ojota-Ketu axis, Berger-Magodo-Iseri-Ojodu-Akute-Mowe-Ibafo axis, Ebute Metta-Surulere-Yaba axis, Mile 12-Owode-Ikorodu axis

Job description
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing tools (dashboards, charts etc) to track important HR metrics such as talent/performance, attrition, recruitment, diversity etc in line with HR strategy and also monitor and addresses legal compliance issues to by ensure that the organisation complies with  national laws (for e.g. recruitment, diversity, data protection, employee contracts)

Responsibilities

1. Brings HR insight (including employee and industrial relations) to bear on all people related issues (people capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture.)
2. Facilitates HR service delivery to the business.
3. Collaborates with the business for the creation a high performance culture by supporting the implementation of team and organisation design solutions.
4. Seeks opportunities to improve/enhance the talent/performance management processes for the organisation functions
5. Interfaces with HR service provider for delivery of core HR services to the business monitors Quality and timeliness of service provision.
6. Helps to monitor and to address legal compliance issues to ensure that the organisation complies with local and national laws.
7. Assists with the generation of workforce measures and metrics, reporting, variance & trend analysis.
8. Maintains a database of job profiles and organisation structures for  different  functions
9. Oversee and administer staff welfare packages as well as occupational safety and health matters.
10. Management of the company’s training programs
11. Competencies report, performance appraisal and career interviews.
12. Ensure the implementation of social regulations.

Qualifications et experience

1. Bachelors’ degree in social or behavioural sciences.
2. Master degree is an added advantage.
3. Must have a minimum of 4years of related experience.
4. Must possess good presentation skills.
5. Must possess analytical skills.
6. Must possess leadership skills.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
8. Must be computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)
9. Must be excellently spoken and written
