Summary of Duties
Assist the Group President in personal organization.
Arrange and co-ordinate the Group President's travels with the flight unit.
See off and welcome the Group President on his travels.
Advance travel to events that the Group President is scheduled to attend in order to ensure that all respects and accords due his office and person are appropriately provided.
Receiving and scrutinizing of invitations to events as well scheduling attendance to such events and liaising with the organizers so ensure proper co-ordination
Travelling with the Group President on local and international journeys when necessary.
Requirements
Must very confident, organized and bright
Must possess excellent speaking and writing skills.
Ability to confidently interact with individuals as well as corporate bodies.
Must be vesy presentable and smart at all times.
Must be discreet.
Qualification/Experience
A degree in any field of study
Certified previous experience in a similar role is added advantage.
Not alder than 32 years.

Position Profile

Position: Corporate Affairs Manager, West Africa
Location: Lagos, Nigeria or Accra, Ghana
Reporting to: Director of Legal & Corporate Affairs - West, East & Central Africa (WECA)

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Develop, orchestrate and implement, in partnership with key stakeholder groups across the Company, outreach strategies and campaigns to positively shape the debate and public policy outcomes on issues important to the ICT industry. Key issues include online and software ecosystem development and growth, privacy, ICT security, intellectual property rights protection, competition law, and trade and market access.

Work in close partnership with the Company’s public relations team to develop effective internal and external communications strategies.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote Microsoft’s and the industry’s position on important public policy issues.

Work closely with the Microsoft West Africa’s leadership team to keep them well informed on public policy issues, debates and trends and provide proactive advice on the impact and relevance of these issues to the Company’s businesses.

Develop and propose outreach and engagement strategies to the leadership team on critical public policy issues.

Serve as a leading voice for the company in building and strengthening the Company’s relationship with industry partners, trade associations, advocacy organizations, multilateral organizations, and industry coalitions in order to more effectively shape and advance the industry’s position on important public policy issues across the region.

Champion Microsoft’s values and the highest ethical standards in the conduct of our business and engagement with government customers and officials.

Identify new and emerging legal and regulatory issues that may affect Microsoft’s business in the region. Coordinate with internal and external legal and non-legal expert resources, as necessary, to help analyze and address such issues in the implementation of the company’s business strategy.

Implement an effective measurement and analysis approach for campaigns that will support prioritization of activities and investments.


Candidate Profile

Key Experience:

A minimum of eight years of relevant professional activity, preferably in Africa.

Experience in building and managing relationships with key government officials.

A combination of private and public sector work experience.

A strong understanding of business issues and thinking, preferably in the IT sector.

A proven record of cross-group collaboration.


Qualifications

Minimum of 5 year studies at university in the areas of law, economics, communications, political science, international affairs or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Education in public administration (preferred).

Excellent written and spoken English.

Requirements

5.) Librarian II - CONUASS 2

Requirements
Applicants must possess a good honors degree in Library Science or its equivalent with at least 3 years experience, or a Master degree in library Science with at least 2 years experience.


6.) Medical Doctors – CONMESS 2

Requirements
Applicant must possess MBBS with full registration with the relevant medical professional body.


7.) Pharmacist - CONHESS 9

Requirements
Applicants must possess a degree in Pharmacy, and must be Registered with the Pharmacist Registration board of Nigeria.

Summary
The Attorney shall work within the Legal Services Shared Services Centre (SSC) and will primarily be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support on the Finance aspects of various legal transactions, corporate projects/assignments regarding the Oando Group as well as legal support on M&A transactions and legal support for the Shared Services Units, Oando Foundation, Corporate Secretariat and the Engineering and Technology Organization (ETO) departments within the Group, and any other entity as requested/directed by the Chief Legal Officer or the Finance Advisor.
The Attorney will be responsible for daily transaction processing e.g. as relates to the preparation and review of contracts, legal opinions etc. In addition, the Attorney will provide project administration support, project work plan monitoring, status report preparation, project documentation and filing in addition to handling assigned responsibilities.
The Attorney shall be responsible for the processing of legal transactions in line with the overall philosophy and strategy of the Group regarding legal advisory matters and ensures that all practices, policies and business activities handled fall within the bounds of the Group’s legal posture.
The Attorney shall provide transaction and operational support and practical advice, geared towards the effective and efficient management of the legal needs of each transaction/assignment handled.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Executes work/implements best practices for legal services on assigned transactions.
Processes legal transactions; prepares and reviews legal opinions and agreements as may be requested of users from time to time.
Attends meetings and negotiates contracts with third parties and or members of other Oando entities, Corporate Finance, the Shared Services Units, Oando Foundation or ETO, with regard to the respective transactions or projects as the case may be.
Liaise with Group Finance, Group Treasury, external solicitors and external financial advisors on ongoing Finance or M&A transactions.
Liase with Tax Department on Tax compliance requirements and Tax aspects of transactions.
Writes basic letters, files, updates and archives legal documents and case folders.
Maintains and periodically updates the databases maintained by the Legal Services department.
Qualifications & Experience
1st degree in Law; BL
4 years legal work experience either from a reputable law firm or within the Legal Department of a reputable and structured business environment
significant experience in Finance and/or Tax is required
Some experience in mergers and acquisitions would be an added advantage
Ability to perform basic/general legal analysis
Strong & effective business communication (verbal and writing skills)
Ability to plan and execute complex assignments under pressure
