Job description
The Technical Safety Engineer is to work with a major global Operator on their project in Nigeria. This position will provide support to onshore and deep water production and project departments.
Duties
The duties include but not limited to:
Application of technical/process safety tools
Identification, assessment and documentation of HSE Risk reduction and control strategies.
Be involved in all aspects of HSE risk assessment workshops.
Perform as Technical Authority
Provide advice and support
Facilitate technical discussions/ risk based decision making.
Requirements
BS or MS in Engineering or Advanced Science
5 years + Oil and Gas industry experience
Upstream and downstream Risk Assessment
HAZIDs/HAZOPs
QRAs
HEMP & ALARP
API
OSHA PSM
Process Safety Management Systems
