We are currently recruiting to fill the below position of:

Job Title: Welding Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
Inspect facilities for potential safety & environmental issues
Correct safety situations
Communicate with the Maintenance on issues beyond the ability of welding shop
Communicate with supervisor when funds are required
Hold safety meetings relative to welder duties
Ensure everyone in the weld shop follows Weatherford safety and environmental policies and procedures
Optimize production through training, equipment, tooling and work with Engineering on improving product drawings
Ensure all quality policies and procedures are followed. Maintain employment level to meet demands
Establish priorities to meet delivery requirements
Ensure all employees time worked are recorded correctly and completely
Administer vacation, sick, and personal time
Must follow safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Work Place Instructions
Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements
A Bachelors Degree
Minimum 5 years experience working in welding/carbiding.
Knowledge of equipment and materials
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Must have good knowledge of welding symbols
Interpersonal skills to give guidance, direction and assistance to others
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications
Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
